Quick Tip: Don’t feel pain. Don’t feel joy.

Something I’ve seen in women (and has been confirmed by therapists) over the years leads me to post this:

Be careful about shutting down to your pain;

you may be shutting down to your joy also. 

It was definitely true for me.

To Do:

It’s probably easy to know if you’ve been avoiding the pain in your relationship, but also look closely at your life: Have you had much true joy, lately?  Have you been having to fake your happiness?  Is there a truth inside you that you keep trying to bury under food or alcohol or shopping or (like me) busyness?

Then ask yourself, “Am I ready to have my joy back?  Is it time to get my life back?”
